Associate Deal Desk Analyst
We're looking for an Associate Deal Desk Analyst to join our Revenue Operations department, who is energetic, driven and thrives working in a positive, forward thinking and collaborative environment. You will report into the Senior Manager, Deal Desk. To be successful in this role, you will be well versed in the world of SaaS and highly organized. You will also be confident interfacing with Executives and cross-functional teams including Sales, Customer Success, Finance, and Legal teams on deal structuring, commercial terms, pricing approvals, and contract negotiation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Order Form Management:
- Create standard and non-standard Order Forms, Amendments and SOWs for new business, expansions and renewals.
- Redline non-standard commercial deal terms. Manage the approval process, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Work closely with Legal, Finance and Product Owners to address discrepancies and ensure compliance.
- Renewals and Data Management:
- Track and optimize renewal opportunities in Salesforce, ensuring timely follow-ups and processing.
- Assist with Salesforce data quality and provide ongoing data hygiene support.
- Churn reporting and forecasting
- Coordinate with Accounting to resolve any NetSuite entries or billing clarifications, ensuring alignment with revenue recognition principles.
- Support and Training:
- Provide guidance and train Sales and Customer Success teams on the use of Salesforce.com and CPQ
- Respond promptly to day-to-day inquiries from various stakeholders, building strong internal relationships.
- Process Improvement:
- Recommend process improvements and workflows to enhance efficiency and accuracy
- Collaborate with IT on Salesforce enhancements, conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and ensure implementation
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in Deal Desk, Revenue Operations, or Finance roles, ideally in SaaS or subscription-based environments.
- Proficiency in Salesforce.com and CRM processes.
- Experience with CPQ tools and managing non-standard order forms.
- Ability to redline non-standard terms and collaborate effectively with Sales, Customer Success, Legal, Finance, and Marketing teams.
- Familiarity with NetSuite for accounting entries, billing coordination, and revenue recognition.
- Strong analytical, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Google Docs and Sheets
- Self-motivated and detail-oriented, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong time management and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.
**The typical salary range for this role in Toronto is $95,000-$100,000 depending on experience.**
